Award winning Kent home care
These are things families tell us when they first get in touch.
Mum doesn't want to go into a care home, but she can't manage on her own any more.
You worry Dad might fall when nobody is there.
Short daily visits just aren't enough anymore.
You don't want a different carer turning up every day.
You're not sure a care home would give her the attention she needs.
You don't know what happens if his health gets worse.
Live-in care means a trained carer lives in your loved one's home and supports them day to day. Here's how it compares.
Every family is different, so we compare the real costs like for like in your free consultation.

Led by Managing Director Shweta Maulayah, who has more than 18 years in health and social care, our team of around 30 carers supports adults across Kent and the South East.
A small team of 2 to 3 carers who get to know your loved one, so cover for breaks and holidays is someone they already know.
One clear point of contact and regular updates, wherever you live.
We're open about what live-in care includes, carers' breaks, and when extra support is needed.
"Whilst Mum was in hospital I called Maucare and Shweta came the next day to the ward to assess Mum. She discussed mums care with the hospital staff and gave our family excellent advice. She explained our options."
"The live-in carers were highly skilled and gave me a sense of reassurance and the office staff communicated everything clearly."
"The care and attention they gave Dad was wonderful. The staff are helpful and compassionate and amazing support. The company responded quickly to any queries and dealt with things efficiently."
Live-in care isn't the answer for everyone, and we'd rather tell you that up front.
Your loved one wants to stay at home
They need more support than short daily visits
You'd like the same small team caring for them
You're weighing up a care home and want to compare
Their needs can't be met safely at home
They need nursing supervision around the clock
They require continuous 1-to-1 supervision day and night without break
If that's the case, we'll say so honestly and point you to the right kind of care.
It can be, depending on your loved one's needs and the care home you're comparing it with. Live-in care can work out especially well for couples. That's what the free consultation is for: we compare the costs side by side, like for like, before you decide anything.
We know how much consistency matters, especially for people living with dementia. We aim to provide a small, familiar team of about two to three carers on a planned rota. so carers build real relationships and cover comes from someone your loved one already knows.
A live-in carer lives in your loved one's home and helps with personal care, meals, medication, companionship, mobility and everyday activities. They aren't expected to work 24 hours straight. They need breaks, rest and sleep. We assess overnight needs and explain when extra waking-night support may be needed.
In many cases. yes. We work alongside GPs, district nurses and palliative care teams to provide comfort and practical support at home. Whether someone can stay at home depends on their wishes, their clinical needs, the support available and whether their care can be delivered safely.
Because we use a small team of familiar carers, cover usually comes from someone your loved one already knows. We talk through planned breaks, cover and back-up support with you before care begins.
Find out whether your loved one could stay safely at home, and what it would
really cost. The consultation is free, and there's no obligation.
